My 88 civic seems to be starting to stutter a little when your just barely on the gas and also when your not on the gas at all and decelerating in gear. It starts slowing down then seems like the engine is being fed more gas then it will slow down again and so on. Also when your hard on the gas and then put the clutch in the car will start idling close to around 1500 rpm then slowly go down then shoot back up and go back down until it finally starts idling around 800 rpm. The car is just acting like there is more gas being fed to it when there shouldn't be. I figured it may be fuel injectors clogged up or possibly a vacuum leak. It has had a tuneup done on it just a few months ago and this car isn't driven very often. It also has a new air filter on it. Pull the seat off the frame and set it aside. 2 Loosen the clamp nut on the negative battery cable using the corresponding box wrench. Pull the cable off the battery. 3 Loosen the turn signal bracket using a screwdriver. Pull the turn signal off the frame. Turn both plastic wire caps counterclockwise until they come off the wires. Pull the wire apart and set the stock turn signal aside. 4 Connect the positive and negative wires on the new turn signal to the corresponding wires. Place new wire caps onto the wires and turn the caps clockwise until the caps are tight. Place the turn signal onto the frame and tighten the bracket. 5 Replace the battery cable to the battery the opposite way that you removed it. Flip the turn signal's switch to ensure that the turn signal is working. Replace the seat on the frame and tighten the seat's securing nut until it is snug.
